ضلعی ہیڈکوارٹر ہسپتال بابا بلھے شاہ قصور میں جاری تعمیراتی کام کے باعث بجلی کی فراہمی تقریباً دو گھنٹے کے لیے معطل رہنے کا امکان ہے۔ ہسپتال انتظامیہ نے شہریوں کو پیشگی آگاہ کر دیا ہے تاکہ مریضوں اور ان کے لواحقین کو مشکل پیش نہ آئے۔

انتظامیہ کے مطابق کیتھ لیب اور لانڈری ایریا میں وائرنگ کنکشن کا باقی ماندہ کام جاری ہے، جو بلڈنگ ڈیپارٹمنٹ مکمل کر رہا ہے۔

ایم ایس ڈاکٹر کاشف محمود کمبوہ نے بتایا کہ کام کے دوران بجلی عارضی طور پر بند رہ سکتی ہے، تاہم ہسپتال کے جنریٹر فعال رہیں گے تاکہ ضروری طبی اور انتظامی امور متاثر نہ ہوں۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ جنریٹر پر ایئرکنڈیشنر نہیں چلائے جائیں گے۔

ان کے مطابق عملہ وائرنگ کا کام جلد از جلد مکمل کرنے کی کوشش کر رہا ہے اور کام ختم ہوتے ہی بجلی کی معمول کی فراہمی بحال کر دی جائے گی۔

ہسپتال میں بجلی کی بندش سے پہلے اطلاع دینا مریضوں کے لیے سہولت کا باعث ہے، خاص طور پر ان لوگوں کے لیے جو دور دراز علاقوں سے علاج کے لیے آتے ہیں اور جنہیں پہلے سے منصوبہ بندی کرنی ہوتی ہے۔

According to the administration, remaining wiring connection work in the cath lab and laundry area is under way, being carried out by the buildings department.

Medical Superintendent Dr Kashif Mahmood Kamboh said the supply may be interrupted while the work is done, but that the hospital's generators would stay running so essential clinical and administrative functions continue. He clarified that air conditioning would not run on generator power.

Staff are working to finish the wiring as quickly as possible, he said, and normal supply will be restored as soon as it is complete.
